Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Astute Links collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the astutelinks.com website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Astute Links.
Our Services
- Link Localization: Link Translation redirects Consumers to a page on a nationally- or regionally-specific international online marketplace, such as the Amazon online international storefronts (“Storefronts”), that we believe is most relevant for that Consumer based on a specialized link clicked on by that Consumer. Localization helps ensure that the Consumer sees fewer error messages, and helps improve a Consumer’s buying experience by placing them in a storefront where shipping and tax rates are minimized, and currency and language are appropriate. Localization also helps ensure the proper use of nationally or regionally-specific affiliate programs.
- Advanced Links: Additional features such as our Advanced Targets, remarketing pixels, and multiple destinations for performance testing allow our service to automatically route users to different destinations based off attributes of their device, operating system, date of click, country of origin, and other factors while adding them to remarketing pools for services such as Google Adwords, Facebook Retargeting, and Twitter Remarketing.
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics & Facebook Pixel for providing analytics services (Read Google Analytics & Facebook Pixel section provided later in the Privacy Policy). Analytics service provides Clients with marketing content based on data identifying the geographical location (“Location Data”) and type of computer, tablet, smartphone or other devices (“Device Data”) used by a Consumer, as well as the Device’s operating system and browser (“Software Data”). Analytics service helps Clients ensure that advertising content is relevant to the Consumer and appropriate to the country or region where the Consumer is located.
